Yup,

made a Twitter account and added a feed to the homepage. Created various lists too, might add those feeds to the variant pages at some point. Twitter users can then make posts to those lists which can appear on the appropriate variant pages.

We scheduled to mirror the twitter lists with the forum pages at some point.

We are not sure how popular Twitter is amongst our users, so this can be seen as a sort of test.

Good question, there used to be a bughouse section but due to extremely bad performance (almost as bad as the old bug-db  ) we had to remove it.
The code is there but it needs to be improved to handle large game volumes and special structure that bughouse has, plus our server is quite old as well.

I haven't really prioritized it, but it would be awesome to add it again. For now there is the classic http://bughouse-db.org/ with just the bug games.

Do you know if the bughouse section is going to be added?  When I log in, I see at the top a tab for bughouse, but when I click it, I am redirected to the atomic page.

I've added some improvements to Opening Explorer.
Now you can see maximum ELO for certain move as well as time span between which move has been played.
This can be useful if you want to see how "fresh" a move is as well as if good players are playing it

Also fixed player rating graphs so X-axis is displayed in years instead of month/days.

Also some smaller bug fixes in various parts of site.

Hi all

After a lengthy time off we're starting some new development again.
I've added the site to subversion which simplifies keeping track of changes and developing new features and hopefully will help us alot.

First two smaller things fixed is that Alphabetical player search is working better (http://wildchess.org/seek.php?variant=Standard)
and also in opening explorer one can now directly jump to the practitioner's player file (http://wildchess.org/secretsearch.php?variant=Standard&parent_id=31476&pl=1&moves=Start.c4&nodes=1.31476)

Look out for some new features being done soon!

We made those boards because we have translations in those languages (fr.wildchess.org, es.wildchess.org etc.). If we had our website in Hebrew as well, we would also make a Hebrew board.
